Our Organic Farm Policy

Health/Chemicals and Pesticides:
Our first rule is that our farm is organic, we don't use any chemicals or pesticides on our plants so they grow faster.

We are not using any herbicides, we are going to take our weeds out by hand.

Hormones:
We don't put hormones in our cows or chickens food so they grow faster and produce dairy and eggs faster.

Animal waste:
We use our dead crops and leaves with animal manure to make fertilizer instead of buying the ones that use chemicals.

Water:
We will have buckets around our farm and when it rains we collect all of the water and we can sometimes use that to water our plants to save water.

We are not going to have grass on our farm because that way we can use more water on our plants and wont have to water grass just to make it look pretty.

Biodiversity:
We leave the tree areas so animals like deer, bunnies, birds, foxes and insects so they can have a habitat.

We are also leaving a little rock area so insects can live there.

Workers:
Our workers are going to be paid fairly, it depends on what type of jobs they have , some will get paid less and some will get paid more because they might have the better job.

Animal Welfare:
The chickens and cows are going to be free run so they can go outside or stay inside the chicken coup and barn if they want. But the area area is going to be fenced.

We are going to give our animals all of the proper nutrition that they need.

We will come and clean up the animal waste every day so they don't have to live in their own waste.

Antibiotics:

We only give antibiotics to our animals only when they are sick.

Environment:

No chemicals, or anything bad for the environment.
